Lee and Briony's Wedding – Bournemouth

Lee and Briony wanted their wedding reception in Bournemouth to have something their guests would actually get stuck into — an activity that would bring both families together and keep the evening moving, rather than relying on a photo booth or the disco alone. They also wanted the circuit to feel like part of their day, dressed in their own racing theme.

The full Signature Track was dressed in Lee and Briony's own 'Mustang Raceway' branding — a black trackside trailer carrying the Adam's Scalextric Events and Mustang Raceway logos, custom 'Mr & Mrs' signage around the circuit, and the couple's checkered-flag wedding cake sitting alongside the track. Trackside advertising, pit building and grandstands completed the circuit, with live digital lap timing feeding the leaderboard screen beside it.

Racing ran from 6.30pm to 10pm, with guests cycling through the lanes as the reception got going. There was no set format — anyone could take a car out for a run, and the fastest-lap competition ran all evening with the running order shown live on the leaderboard. 1,417 laps were completed across the three and a half hours, with the top ten separated by just over three tenths of a second.
