Howdens TradeFest 2026 – Southport

Howdens brought TRADEFEST back to the Southport branch for 2026 and wanted an attraction that would pull trade customers over, keep them at the event and give the team a natural reason to start conversations. As with our very first event — TRADEFEST at this same branch a year earlier — the answer was a bespoke Scalextric setup built around Howdens' own branding.

Our Signature Digital Track was set up on the branch forecourt in front of the trade counter, built out in a desert theme with sand-coloured terrain, dry scrub, a printed desert backdrop, a Mustang Raceway water tower and Dunlop, Goodyear and Coca-Cola trackside signage. The grandstands, pit lane and control tower were wrapped in bespoke Howdens red banners carrying the Howdens name and rooster logo, with a Red Bull bridge spanning the circuit. The track table was finished with a black valance carrying the Adam's Scalextric Events badge.

The circuit ran through the day on the forecourt, with trade customers picking up a controller between visits to the branch and going after the fastest lap. A year on from our very first event — TRADEFEST, at this same branch — it was the same format in the same spot, with the setup dialled in and Howdens' branding across every structure.
